Let me near when I nudge closer.

Listen to my face, not just my tongue.

Hear me with your heart, don’t just nod your head.

Witness me.

I may not be glamorous.  But I know majesty.

I may not be pretty, but beauty lives inside.

I may not have the right words, but I understand what you say.

I would if I could, offer you the world.

But in this moment, here, I offer you myself.
